Dr. David Mattos

Dr. David Mattos is a Harvard-trained, board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Manhattan and Long Island with over 11 years of experience. He graduated with honors from Harvard University, Harvard Medical School, and Harvard Business School, completing the prestigious dual MBA/MD degree program. Dr. Mattos completed his plastic surgery residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School from 2014-2020, where he received comprehensive training in both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Mattos is affiliated with multiple hospitals including NYU Langone Hospitals, St. Francis Hospital and Heart Center, and Mercy Hospital-Rockville Centre. He is a member of the Young Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons Committee of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and maintains memberships in both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).

With expertise in both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, Dr. Mattos performs surgical and nonsurgical treatments with a special interest in rhinoplasty, breast enhancement, and mommy makeover procedures. Dr. Mattos strives to deliver natural, balanced results to every patient. In addition to maintaining a busy surgery schedule, Dr. Mattos often authors articles in peer-reviewed plastic journals, speaks at national conferences, and mentors future plastic surgeons.
